Embed code
<iframe src="https://countdownshq.com/embed/durga-puja" width="320" height="220" style="border:0;overflow:hidden" loading="lazy" title="Durga Puja countdown"></iframe>
<p style="margin:4px 0 0;font:12px/1.4 system-ui,sans-serif">Countdown by <a href="https://countdownshq.com/holidays/durga-puja" rel="nofollow">CountdownsHQ</a></p>

How it works

The widget is a lightweight <iframe> that loads a self-contained countdown page from CountdownsHQ. It runs entirely in the visitor's browser, so the timer is always accurate to their local clock, and it costs you nothing to host.

The embed code adds one small line under the widget, “Countdown by CountdownsHQ”, linking to the holiday's page. The credit is appreciated but not required.

Where to paste it

  • Google Sites — Insert > Embed > By URL, then paste the link-only URL.
  • WordPress — add a Custom HTML block and paste the embed code.
  • Notion — type /embed and paste the link-only URL.

Options

  • theme — auto (matches the visitor), light or dark.
  • country — anchor the target time to a country's time zone (e.g. ?country=vietnam).
  • title — set ?title=0 to hide the holiday name.
